Gearing up!

This time tomorrow I will be in LAs Vegas!

But this weekend...

Friday evening, after a long 10 hour day at work, I went to a U of M Dearborn Frat party with Ani, Kelli, Steph, Juliana and Justina. It was fun, nice to meet some new people. The guys were cool, but the older half of us wasnt feeling the party too much so we left around 1am and went to get Baskin Robbins. At Basket Robbins there was a man inside doing jidtzo (sp?) moves and five deliquent boys outside, who leared at us as we went inside, came out, and yelled things as we drove away. Once home Kelli and I would stop talking about useless things, thus delaying sleep, but it was good times.

Saturday I went and picked up the keg for Ashley's party and headed over to my parent's. I got there and it was raining, but by about 3pm, it stopped and didnt rain again until much later for only about 10 minutes, so the weather turned out good. We had so much food! And it was nice to see the fam. Not many people really came, but I know quite a few had conflicts with the day, then some people were discouraged by the weather. We had tents, a house and garage people! Nate came over after work, and while he was there Melissa Mirabitur, her roomate Elizabeth and her mom came! It was so nice to see them! I havent seen her since her birthday, so 3 months ago. Katie then showed up and I think it's been longer since I saw her! But we talk every couple weeks. Avery was adorable, and made a little boyfriend at the party. Joe and Denise were giving me tips for Vegas, and we tried telling them to come with us for Steph's 21st birthday next year, but they said they will be planning a 40th birthday (Joe turns 40 in April, Denise in July next year) thing, so they will leave us youngins to go alone. We invited Christie to go, and I would love Katie to go, now the trip is probably up to a solid two rooms of people. The Geradi's showed up late because of a funeral, and Carolyn is a hairdresser and said her salon is going to need a photographer for a magazine shoot, so she's going to give me a call by October about it. Awesome! One more thing for the resume, which I really need to make. Katie also might have a wedding for me to shoot next June for her roommate, which she is planning, yay! Katie stayed until 9pm, and went home, and her bf George had come down (he lives in the thumb area) and after he showered and what not the three of us went to Frankie's! First time we had been in there, and it is much bigger than I expected! We only stayed a half an hour and then went to see  Wedding Crashers. MaryBeth met us up at the movies, having just gotten off of work. It was a funny movie, I enjoyed it.

After the movies I had three voice mails, once from Krystin, one from Krystin's friend Bryan calling from her phone (who I do not know) and one from Steph all telling me to come over to Krystin's. I didnt want to because it was 1am, and I have so much to do today, but I did go after leaving my parents, where there was tons of children just getting out of the pool, crazy. So I drove to Krystin's passing up my exit #4 off of Southfield where I could go to bed. No biggie, Krystin and I had a nice talk, then I had to direct Doug over because Steph was not making sense of how to get to Krystin's. I finally went to bed at 3am, and today I must do laundry at my parents because the washing machine is broke here. But first, off to Nankin! Yay!

Vegas, plane leaves in 24 hours people..... Watch out for us!
